is privacy a right?

i’m a believer that privacy is a privilege not a right. we have grown to treat it as a right in our society. however, it’s becoming hard to justify it with all this technology that allows us to access any information on anything and anyone. we created the beast, now we must learn to tame it. that’s it. that’s all I really have to on that matter. carry on.
